This issue contains the anthology “Post-War Poetry: 1918–20 and 1948–50”, edited by Sherard Vines, Roy Campbell and Lois Stockley. The anthology presents poetry connected with Oxford literary circles across two post-war periods.

Contributors include several significant twentieth-century literary figures, notably Aldous Huxley, author of Brave New World, and the celebrated poet Robert Graves. The issue also includes poetry by Elizabeth Jennings, later one of the key poets associated with the “Movement”.

The magazine was printed in Oxford by the Holywell Press and forms part of the rich tradition of Oxford literary reviews which often published emerging writers alongside established literary figures.
